Twisted T- Shirts!!!!

Check Them Out Here!!

Twisted Entertainment is expanding its catalog of products with the introduction of “Mobile Art Prints” (OK, they’re actually just high quality T-shirts - but check them out because the art on these shirts is hilarious). The first five designs available are based on art from our political humor game lineup. Each image stands on its own in terms of art as well as the tongue-in-cheek-thumb-your-nose-at-the-status-quo-can-they-put-any-more-hyphens-into-this-sentence humor value. The team at Twisted decided that something this funny couldn’t be confined to a small box, but had to be shared with (inflicted on?) the world at large. We are beginning with everyone within eyeball range of your chest and will expand from there into billboards, crop circle designs (shhhh!) and stadium blimp lights.

The difficult part of this decision was limiting the number of available designs to just five. Everyone on the team had their favorite image from the game they wanted to see turned into a shirt. Combine that with a vast host of captions the creative team devised and the options were difficult to eliminate during the selection process.

Further additions to the T-shirt line are expected to be taken from the artwork being developed for our upcoming projects. Although the “Rules Dude” (managing member Randy Lindsay) indicated that any requests from our customers would be given very serious consideration.

When asked if this was just the first step in a long term strategy to conquer the fashion industry, the Big Idea Guy (managing member Paul Brown) responded: “All the world is a stage, so unleashing these “mobile art prints” is like going on tour with Shakespeare, only as one of the roadies! No one is quite sure what he meant by that - and he isn’t telling. Until more can be coaxed out of him that will have to remain Twisted’s official stance on all things fashion related. Hey, why are you still reading this? Buy one of our T-shirts for crying out loud!

Twisted Lets Loose on Local Radio

Former Congressman J. D. Hayworth interviewed the Big Idea Guy (managing member, Paul Brown) on his radio talk show. The show is carried locally in Phoenix, Arizona on AM 550 KFYI. The fifteen minute segment gave Twisted Entertainment a healthy amount of exposure in their home market.

Mr. Hayworth questioned the Big Idea Guy on the economy, how it affected the launch of a new company, the politics behind the game, and the motivation behind Twisted Entertainment producing the Obama Nation card game.

Among the points discussed:
Starting a new company in the face of a bad economy? Sounds dumb. Well… even during rough economic periods, people want to have a good time. They just don’t want to pay for it! We figured, hey what cheaper thrill than having a belly laugh at the expense of the US government? Enter the Obama Nation card game. No other game will let you spend over a TRILLION DOLLARS in US Government Bailout cash, play with friends and family laughing for hours, all for a price under $8.

So what are the politics behind a politically charged game like Obama Nation? Frankly, we felt the situation in America was starting to feel like watching a bad cartoon. With everyone crying over the bad economy we felt it was time for a few laughs to help revive spirits and foster some good natured table talk between people of all political stripes.

Is this a game by conservatives, for conservatives, designed purely to poke the Democrats in the eye? Actually, the crew at Twisted Entertainment is neither right nor left leaning. Founders Randy and Paul are on opposite sides of the political spectrum and yet they still manage to run a business together, talk about issues, and laugh together about the insanity of US Politics without (yet) coming to blows! Obama Nation was created to take an irreverent look at the US economic meltdown, and the bail out programs that have followed under both Bush and Obama. The game primarily lambasts the large companies and groups that have taken advantage of the situation to cash in for their own benefit at the expense of John Q. Public.

The next step for Twisted Entertainment? Although prematurely announced, Twisted hopes, one day, to rule the world. Or at the very least “capture” the attention of consumers everywhere. Absurd? That’s what they said about the United Nations… and we make the absurd our business!

Launch Party!!

Pallets of the Obama Nation card game arrived at the warehouse and Twisted Entertainment held a launch party for the game. A small group of friends, family, and local members of the media were invited to join in the fun.

Guests snacked and yacked for the first hour, while Twisted founders Paul Brown and Randy Lindsay along with art guru Steve Crompton infused party-goers with their uncontained excitement over the launch. Paul indicated there was plenty to celebrate. “Things came together pretty quickly and it took surprisingly little time to go from concept to product. Four months ago Randy and I were talking about starting an entertainment company and today we will be shipping out product. That is amazing.”

After everyone had a chance to talk to the creative team responsible for the game, they settled down to play it. A micro tournament was held and the winner Jeff Wincek walked away with the grand prize – An extra large Porker. No white elephants here!

When it was all over, a single question hung in the air: When’s the next party?
